Sara Razmi

Designer
Tehran | Iran

Sara Razmi’s handcrafted art collection was inspired by magnificent ancient palaces.

The ornaments that adorn this statue are a confluence of different art forms, namely sculpture, architecture and jewelry making. They are precious pieces that are worn as personal jewelry and emphasize the beauty of the art-conscious individual. Portable artifacts in the form of statues are items that can be worn and not used exclusively to decorate a living space.

She takes a piece of history, a window of a royal palace, and transforms it into a collection called Shamsolemareh. She uses the remains of tashtaks (crown caps) to create her
Tashtak Collection 2.

Sara has a Masters degree in English language.

Sara was a student of the renowned Professor Parviz Tanavoli, one of the outstanding sculptors and researchers in Iranian art history.
